Reports to:      Cannabis Manager

Position Type: Multiple positions available, full-time/part-time, ongoing/temporary

 

Job Overview:

The Cannabis Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and meeting sale targets of the Cannabis Store. This position ensures that the Cannabis Store is a welcoming, safe, and clean space for customers, employees, and service providers. The Cannabis Associate will be customer focussed and a team player.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Cannabis Store is maintained to safeguard customers and employees.
  • Follow all legal requirements.
  • Achieve financial objectives by working as a team player to obtain high returns on customer satisfaction, products sold and through cost effective expenditures or reducing overhead expenses, as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors of the Cannabis Store.
  • Resolve customer complaints by making recommendations or developing solutions.
  • Complete all required deposits.
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality, through proper handling of information and secure filing of documents.
  • Adhere to all Wagmatcook First Nation policies.
  • Adhere to all Occupational Health & Safety policies.
    • Report any incidents or near misses to the Cannabis Manager.
    • Participate in training and safety programs.

 

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Previous experience in retail, an asset.
  • Three (3) years of retail experience, preferred.
  • Previous experience in building effective teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Decision-making skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt and effectively manage time.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
