Cleanwave Restaurant is seeking experienced servers. Applicants must be available to work Monday through Friday during the off-season (October – May) and Sunday through Saturday during the peak season (May – October). The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive dining experience and providing excellent customer service. The Cleanwave Server will possess a positive, outgoing personality and a sense of urgency.
Server responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers.
- Taking orders, promoting specials and providing recommendations.
- Serving meals.
- Assisting with take-out.
- Presenting bills and accept payments.
- Clearing tables.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and colleagues.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience as a food and beverage server, preferred.
- Previous experience with customer service, an asset.
- Previous experience with a POS system will be considered an asset.
- Food Handler Certification will be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute as a team member.
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts.
- Must be available for day shifts.
- Must be available for weekend shifts.
