Cleanwave Restaurant is seeking a seasonal line cook. Line cook responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring food safety through proper handling and preparation.
- Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Preparing ingredients and aspects of different dishes on the menu.
- Setting up and restocking food station and kitchen items, as required.
- Following health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Communicating and cooperating with the kitchen team.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Educational background in culinary arts, related field, or equivalent work experience, an asset.
- One (1) to two (2) years of previous experience, preferred.
- Food Handler Certification, an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Accuracy and speed in executing multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with Nova Scotia’s Food Safety Regulations.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
