Job Overview:
Wagmatcook is looking for ten (10) seasonal Crab Packers to work at the A&L Seafoods Limited plant (“A&L”) in Louisbourg for the upcoming season. This is a seasonal position, and the successful candidates will be responsible for completing the delegating duties by the A&L leadership team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Unload products and sort them by hand.
• Clean work areas and equipment

• Participate in professional development, training and safety programs.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality, through proper handling of information and secure filing of documents.
• Adhere to all Wagmatcook First Nation policies.
• Adhere to all Occupational Health & Safety policies.
• Report any incidents or near misses to the role.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

• OHS, WHMIS and first aid training would be an asset.
• Ability to use tools and equipment safely.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) lbs.
