Wagmatcookewey School is an independent Mi’kmaq school located in the Wagmatcook, Unama’ki (Cape Breton) and is a member of Mi’kmaw Kina’matnewey family of schools. Our school offers a comprehensive Pre-school to Grade 12 curriculum. We are searching for qualified elementary and secondary level teachers to include in our substitute teacher data base for employment opportunities in 2023-2024. There may be opportunities for permanent full-time employment subject to staffing changes or retirement.
